Job Description The Wealth Banking Services Managing Director leads a team of private bankers responsible for delivering lending solutions within the Wealth Banking Services wholesale private banking model. D irect s the activities and productivity of a team responsible for e valuat ing client borrowing needs and structures , delivering credit solutions, and provid ing ongoing oversight of the loan portfolio. In addition to leading team performance, production, credit quality, and execution, the Managing Director personally engages as the direct Banker for the team’s most complex or sensitive relationships and transactions. The role is accountable for s upport ing the standards for managing the loan portfolio in a manner that ensures compliance with banking regulations, policies and procedures, credit standards, and risk expectations. Additionally, s upports the Wealth Banking Services relationship manager efforts and ensures objectives and tactics are consistent with overall business strategy. Direct activities and product ivity of assigned private banking team . Responsible for pipeline and performance management . Support standards for managing the loan portfolio in a manner that ensures compliance with banking regulations , policies and procedures, credit quality and credit policy requirements. Serves as Banker for the portfolio ’s most complex relationships and transactions. Requires National Mortgage Licensing Service (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z and ongoing compliance with all legal or regulatory registration requirements, including, but not limited to maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record. Actively ensure s compliance with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures. Actively participate in any required corporate and business line training in these areas. Follow account opening procedures and understand and follow internal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes, as required for this position. Actively work with customers to understand each customer's normal account activity, as appropriate for this position.
