Warehouse Utility/ Yard Driver – 2nd Shift City of Industry, CA About the Role Are you a safety-focused CDL driver who enjoys staying active and making an impact? We're looking for a dependable Yard Driver/Warehouse Utility to join our Warehouse team on 2nd Shift. In this role, you'll help keep our operation running smoothly by coordinating trailer movements, supporting warehouse activities, and ensuring products move efficiently throughout the facility. What You'll Do Safely operate tractor-trailer equipment in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. Coordinate trailer movements and dock assignments to support efficient warehouse operations. Perform pre-trip inspections and monitor equipment for safety, maintenance, fuel, and temperature requirements. Prepare and pre-cool reefer units to meet product quality standards. Unload return trailers and maintain clean, organized equipment and work areas. Follow all safety procedures, including trailer chocking, lockout practices, and yard safety protocols. Maintain accurate trailer and dispatch records while communicating effectively with transportation and warehouse teams. Keep the yard clean, organized, and operating efficiently. Support warehouse operations and perform Warehouse Utility responsibilities as business needs require. What You'll Need Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and current DOT medical certification. Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification. Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and teamwork. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment. Comfort working in a warehouse, yard, and outdoor environment in varying weather conditions. Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. The Schedule & Setting Department: Warehouse Shift: 2nd Shift Hours: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with overtime opportunities as needed. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday. Days Off: Saturday and Sunday, subject to business needs. Work Environment: This role works in both warehouse and outdoor yard settings and reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.
