BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a friendly, compassionate, and service-oriented Veterinary Receptionist to join our brand-new hospital in Ellicott City, MD ! Pay: $19.50 - $27.50 / hour This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool. What You'll Bring A compassionate, welcoming, and approachable demeanor with a strong commitment to exceptional client service. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced hospital environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and efficiently. The ability to assess client needs upon arrival and observe the patient's general condition to help determine appropriate next steps. Experience handling financial transactions, including collecting deposits, processing payments, and maintaining accurate client accounts. A proactive approach to appointment management, including confirming upcoming visits and communicating accurate pre-appointment instructions to clients. Compassion and professionalism when coordinating with clients and external service providers regarding aftercare arrangements and pet remains. Why BluePearl?
