Job description
Oracle's Hardware Division within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead Hardware New Product Introduction (NPI) programs for next-generation GPU and CPU server platforms. This role owns end-to-end program execution, from initial product requirements and engineering development through hardware qualification, manufacturing readiness, production ramp, and market launch. You will lead integrated cross-functional product teams spanning electrical, mechanical, and thermal engineering, firmware, operating systems, quality assurance, manufacturing, supply management, and sourcing. Working closely with engineering and OCI service teams, you will drive the delivery of test hardware and initial production infrastructure required to support OCI data centers and regional deployments. Combining strong hardware systems knowledge with technical program leadership, you will translate product requirements into executable plans, resolve complex engineering dependencies, and drive alignment across teams to meet schedule, quality, cost, and deployment commitments. Success in this role requires technical judgment, proactive risk management, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority. Technical Program Leadership & Execution Own integrated product plans covering scope, milestones, resources, build quantities, budgets, technical dependencies, risks, and launch criteria. Partner with product management and OCI service and technical program management teams to align product roadmaps, customer requirements, security expectations, and regional deployment needs. Maintain integrated schedules and dependency plans, establish deliverables and acceptance criteria with functional owners, identify gaps early, and drive corrective actions through closure. Lead cross-functional product reviews, establishing clear ownership, decisions, action items, and delivery commitments. Communicate technical trade-offs, forecast dates, cost exposure, quality readiness, and recovery plans to engineering teams and executive stakeholders. Prepare leadership briefings, including SVP-level reviews when required, and escalate unresolved decisions with supporting analysis, options, and recommendations. Cross-Functional Hardware Engineering & Integration Coordinate electrical engineering activities, including platform and board design milestones, power and interface requirements, GPU and CPU integration, system bring-up, electrical validation, and engineering change dependencies. Align mechanical engineering activities involving chassis and rack integration, assembly, packaging, manufacturing requirements, mechanical verification, and resolution of fit or deployment issues. Integrate BIOS, Baseboard Management Controller (BMC), and device firmware milestones with hardware builds and validation, tracking compatibility, management functionality, security requirements, update readiness, and release dependencies. Coordinate operating system enablement, drivers, software compatibility, installation, and deployment readiness with hardware and firmware plans, driving resolution of cross-stack defects with engineering owners. Partner with quality assurance teams to coordinate requirements-based test coverage, qualification, reliability, regression testing, defect disposition, and release evidence. Diagnose integration and delivery challenges across engineering disciplines, evaluating alternatives based on performance, reliability, manufacturability, supply availability, cost, and schedule. Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Product Launch Align prototype, qualification, pilot, and production builds with factory capacity, tooling, test equipment, work instructions, yield targets, and manufacturing ramp plans. Partner with supply management teams to align material demand, bill of materials (BOM) availability, allocations, and supplier delivery commitments with engineering builds and launch quantitie
