Job Description With an expanded focus on fintech and neobanks, Value Added Services (VAS) Issuing Solutions enables capabilities including digital issuance of card credentials, Transaction Controls and Notifications, issuer loyalty programs, card benefits, and ATM services in a variety of forms from API services to full-service on-behalf-of models. Issuing Solutions help Issuers perform better by delivering value added services in a consistent manner through common integrations, at scale, with global reach and evolving capabilities to meet the demands of a digital marketplace. Transaction Services Team works on a wide variety of projects including VTC (Visa Transaction Controls) and VFC (Visa Flexible Credentials) to support Value Added Services (VAS) Issuing Solutions as part of the core Visa Technology Organization, driving the diversification of our revenue with products that differentiate our network and deliver valuable solutions across other rails. We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our Transaction Services Team in Singapore! As a Software Engineer, you will help design, enhance and build our solutions for customers in an agile, fast-paced environment. You will be working with colleagues across the company, who will help support and challenge you every day. Designing solutions, writing code, unit testing code, reviewing code and frequent check-ins for continuous integration is just part of your DNA. You will see your code going to production in just a few weeks and used by strategic accounts worldwide. Our team, as well as our group works under the principles of a common engineering model with both development and testing expertise. You are expected to have hands-on experience and sufficient knowledge to contribute on both fronts as needed. Your responsibilities will include: Design and develop new system enhancements as well as fix defects in existing software. Demonstrate interest in building features using Generative AI technologies and show willingness to adopt GenAI tools, such as Claude, to improve productivity, accelerate solution design, support development workflows, and explore innovative product capabilities. Help our clients achieve their business goals by understanding their requirements and delivering the best solution. Be proactive and take key responsibility for resolving client technical integration challenges in Certification / Sandbox / Production environments. Work closely with stakeholders from Client Support, Production Engineering and Product Teams to ensure we are able to resolve client integration challenges quickly for faster time to market / time to revenue. Contribute towards meetings and discussions with product and architecture teams. Leverage newer technologies and develop solutions to build the next generation of payment platforms. Work with a team of talented engineers and ensure DEV / QA best practices are followed. Understand coding guidelines and participate in code review processes.
