We’re always striving for more innovative digital solutions, sustainable outcomes and closer collaboration across our company and beyond, and you could be part of that too. Together we continue to grow as the world’s leading energy company! About the role The Strategic Pricing Lead is a high-impact commercial role accountable for developing and executing pricing strategies across TA’s retail, fleet and wholesale fuels businesses. The role connects market, customer, competitor, supply and financial insights to improve profitable volume, margin and pricing execution at site, corridor, customer and network levels. The role will accelerate TA’s move toward integrated, analytical and forward-looking pricing through stronger processes, advanced tools and disciplined performance management. It will partner across pricing, sales, operations, supply, trading, finance, technology, data and analytics, while building team capability and representing TA in wider pricing forums. Key Responsibilities Pricing strategy and value delivery Develop clear pricing strategies, guardrails and actions for TA’s retail, fleet and wholesale channels. Identify and prioritize opportunities to grow profitable volume, improve unit margin and reduce value leakage. Connect channel decisions to total business value and support planning, forecasting and network decisions with pricing and market insight. Retail, fleet and wholesale pricing Develop site, market, corridor, customer and segment strategies across gasoline, diesel, DEF and relevant fuels products. Improve competitive positioning, customer deal evaluation, renewals, repricing and wholesale offer decisions using market, customer, supply and cost-to-serve economics. Partner with pricing operations and sales to convert insights into timely actions and review actual performance against the commercial case. Data, analytics and technology Define business requirements and lead adoption of pricing tools, including retail optimization, fleet deal optimization, segment pricing, corridor analysis and performance management. Validate analytical outputs against market knowledge, address material data gaps and use pilots and structured test-and-learn activity to improve decisions. Ensure new capabilities simplify and improve pricing execution rather than add unnecessary complexity. Performance and governance Establish measures across volume, margin, realization, competitiveness, retention, deal performance and leakage. Lead reviews that explain performance drivers and produce clear actions at site, corridor, market, product, customer and channel levels. Maintain a value pipeline with accountable owners, achievements and measured outcomes, and ensure decisions comply with laws, policies and controls. Leadership and capability Act as a commercial integrator across TA pricing, sales, operations, supply, finance, trading, data, analytics and technology. Communicate recommendations clearly, influence senior and frontline interested parties, and constructively challenge practices that limit value. Coach pricing analysts, promote common pricing methods and share relevant regional and global best practices. Summary Decision Rights Recommend pricing strategies, guardrails, interventions and capability priorities across the assigned TA scope. Approve pricing actions within delegated authority and escalate decisions outside agreed commercial or risk parameters. Recommend whether pilots or interventions should be stopped, adjusted or scaled, and provide operational pricing backup when required. Final financial authorities will align with TA’s approved delegation-of-auth
