Role description We are looking for a senior Active Directory specialist to define, build and lead a new managed service for on-premises AD backup and recovery. You will combine deep, hands-on AD recovery expertise with the ability to design a service from the ground up. This is a hands-on leadership role with real influence over how the service is shaped and sold. Top Priorities: - Define the managed service: service description, tiers, SLAs, RACI, onboarding, escalation and reporting - Design and validate AD backup approaches across multi-DC, multi-site environments - Author and test recovery runbooks, from object-level restores to full DC and forest recovery - Lead customer recoveries and act as the senior technical escalation point Your responsibilities will include: Serving as the technical lead and consultant for the delivery of services engagements ranging from management, migration and protection of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint through the implementation of AvePoint tools and solutions Architecting, configuring, and deploying enterprise implementations for the AvePoint product line and the Microsoft technology stack, including next generation product stack Offer expert guidance on AvePoint and associated Cloud technologies. Delivering training sessions to customers through web-based conferences or onsite at customer’s location Implementing proposed technical strategies and solutions to satisfy customers’ business needs Acting as the customer advocate and liaison for product management and development Compiling technical documentation of projects and implementations as well as service deliverables Effectively and accurately setting client expectations and deliverables Playing the role of an the ground technical resource by providing technical support, product demonstration, and/or solution consultation Proposing and/or designing technical solutions, which include creating prototypes and proofs of concept to assist the product selection process Providing validation and readiness of AvePoint products against technical and business requirements Servicing various technical projects for internal purposes Advancing internal-QA and Scenario testing with virtualized infrastructures and technologies Success Metrics include, but are not limited to the candidate’s ability to: Project and explain ROI Project and explain the Business Value delivered Project and explain the Rate of Change Drive Service Delivery Success Manage Stakeholder Engagement Drive Customer Experience Guarantee End User Satisfaction Monitor Technical Debt Index Balance speed, value and quality OK, I'm interested... is this the job for me?
