The Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) Engineering team builds large-scale, distributed systems that identify, monitor, and secure sensitive data across both cloud and on-premises environments. By providing continuous visibility into where data resides, how it is used, and the risks it faces, DSPM enables organizations to maintain a proactive, data-centric security posture. What’s in it for you We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead and drive initiatives at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, data security and engineering, and advanced analytics. This role combines leadership, collaboration, and technical expertise to design innovative AI-driven solutions, manage high-impact projects, and guide teams in solving complex security challenges in cloud environments. You will be instrumental in ensuring project success, driving cross-functional collaboration, and aligning solutions with business goals. What you will be doing Team Management Lead and develop a team of engineers by setting clear expectations, delivering regular feedback, and coaching individuals on performance, growth, and career development. Technical Leadership Provide technical direction through code and design reviews, high-level engineering decisions, and active participation in architecture and system design discussions. Strategic Planning Define the team’s mission and strategy, ensure alignment with organizational goals, and build a mid-term technical roadmap that drives product and platform evolution. Project Oversight Own team commitments, OKRs, and project outcomes; manage project budgets; and oversee the planning and deployment of large-scale, distributed systems. Cross-Team Collaboration Partner closely with other engineering and product teams, negotiate priorities and trade-offs, and serve as a trusted liaison by bringing deep technical insight into cross-functional decision-making. Required Skills and Experience 10+ years of software engineering experience building large-scale enterprise applications and distributed systems. 4+ years of engineering management experience recruiting, developing, and leading technical teams of 10+ engineers, with a strong focus on talent growth and performance management. Proficiency in modern backend languages (e.g., Scala, Java, Python, Go) and frameworks; expert-level API design and relational data modeling skills; experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
