This leader will play a critical role in shaping eBay’s financial strategy, providing actionable insights that inform business decisions, optimize resource allocation, and support sustainable long-term growth. As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, the Senior Director will bring a combination of financial expertise, business acumen, and intellectual curiosity to help navigate the opportunities and complexities of a dynamic global marketplace. Reporting directly to the Vice President of FP&A, this leader will partner closely with the CFO, executive leadership team, and finance leaders across the organization to translate financial performance into meaningful business insights and strategic recommendations. The successful candidate will bring experience leading Corporate FP&A within a complex, publicly traded company, with a demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels. This individual will be an exceptional communicator, capable of distilling complex financial and business issues into clear, compelling narratives that inform executive decision-making and support investor and Board-level communications. Beyond delivering financial rigor and operational excellence, this leader will help shape the continued evolution of eBay’s finance organization. Equally important, this individual will be an inspiring people leader who builds high-performing teams, fosters collaboration, and creates a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Enterprise Financial Planning & Performance: Lead eBay’s corporate financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting processes, ensuring financial rigor, consistency, and alignment with enterprise priorities. Long-Term Strategic Planning: Drive the financial components of eBay’s long-range planning process, partnering across Finance and the business to evaluate growth opportunities, strategic investments, financial trade-offs, and enterprise resource allocation. Executive Financial Communications: Develop compelling financial narratives, analyses, and presentations that support executive leadership discussions, investor communications, and Board reporting, translating complex information into actionable insights. Financial Analysis & Decision Support: Lead high-impact analytical initiatives to assess business performance, identify emerging trends, evaluate risks and opportunities, and inform strategic and operational decisions.
