AI Solution Developer  Summary  We are seeking a highly skilled AI Solution Developers with deep expertise in Foundation Models and Large Language Models (LLMs). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building, fine-tuning, evaluating, and deploying modern AI systems, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and production-grade AI applications.  This role requires strong full-stack development capabilities combined with advanced AI knowledge to design scalable, secure, and high-performance AI-powered systems.    Key Responsibilities  Design, develop, and deploy applications leveraging foundation models and LLMs (e.g., GPT-class models, open-source LLMs).  Architect and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems using vector databases and semantic search.  Fine-tune, evaluate, and optimize models for performance, cost, latency, and quality.  Trained the model  Setup Best practice and guardrail  Develop prompt engineering strategies and build prompt pipelines.  Build and maintain APIs and backend services for AI-driven applications.  Implement guardrails, safety layers, and evaluation frameworks for AI systems.  Work with structured and unstructured data pipelines.  Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into products.  Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve deployed AI systems in production.  Run test cases on developed solutions.     Qualifications  Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field (or equivalent experience).  Experience: 4+ years in application/web development and creating advanced AI solutions and 2+ years working directly with LLM-based systems.  Technical Skills:  Experience with RAG, embeddings, semantic search, and vector databases   Model fine-tuning techniques  Experience with evaluation frameworks and model benchmarking.  Knowledge of AI safety, alignment, and hallucination mitigation strategies.  Strong proficiency in Python (required).  Solid knowledge of SQL/NoSQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB database design.  Frontend skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (modern frameworks like React, Next.js preferred).  Experience building RESTful APIs (FastAPI, Flask, Django).  Experience with asynchronous programming and microservices architecture.  Experience with vector databases.  Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).  CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.  Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, eagerness to adopt emerging technologies, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced operations environment.  What Makes an Exceptional Candidate  Has built end-to-end LLM products from concept to deployment.  Understands trade-offs between open-source and hosted model APIs.  Thinks in systems: latency, cost optimization, scalability.  Strong problem-solving and experimentation mindset.  Stays current with rapidly evolving AI research and tooling.    What We’re Looking For:  Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.   Don’t meet every single requirement? At Mattel, we are dedicated to an inclusive workplace and a culture of belonging.
