About Becker District/School: Becker School District is conveniently located off of US Hwy 10, just 20 minutes SE from St. Cloud and 45 minutes NW from the Twin Cities. Job Description for Special Education Teacher- EBD, ASD, DCD, LD, ABS, 1 FTE This position is working with students with individual needs that meet criteria for special education. This includes small group instruction, work completion assistance, and teaming with mainstream teachers. The special education teacher will collaborate with other service providers during the day to meet student needs. License & Experience: Licensed Special Education Teacher in the State of Minnesota. Knowledge and experience working with students with special education needs. Essential Skills: Knowledge and experience completing due process and follow timeline requirements of special education Experience completing Part B evaluations Must be able to assure and implement state and federal laws, statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to special education Team oriented approach when working with students, colleagues, families, and administrators Effective communication and teaming skills, both verbally and in writing, with students, parents, teachers, administrators, community and staff Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and the strategic plan of the district Inspires and engages all students in relevant learning Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff and families Salary : $49,102 - $93,080 Annually, DOE Questions can be directed to Lynn Sakry, Director of Special Education @ lsakry@isd726.org Position type: Special Education Teaching School / site: Multiple Locations Date available: ASAP Closing date: Until Filled Attachments: 2025-2027 BEA_Signed.pdf
