WHY BOX NEEDS YOU Box’s Edge (Network Platform Engineering) team powers the connectivity behind our products, including Box Zones and applications hosted across our environment. We’re evolving from a ticket-driven support model to building automated, self-serve network capabilities that application and service owners can consume reliably at scale. We’re looking for a Software Engineer III to design and build backend services and automation that turn complex network functionality into simple, safe, and repeatable workflows. In this role, you’ll deliver high-impact systems using Python and Terraform, grounded in strong networking fundamentals. You’ll partner with internal customers to transform recurring requests into robust products, improving delivery speed, reliability, and developer experience across Box. WHAT YOU'LL DO Design and implement backend services and tooling in Python that make network capabilities accessible for internal application and service owners. Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform to provision, configure, and manage network resources reliably.
