Team/Role Overview: This role will focus on the strategic forward thinking, transformation of our Global Cross Border Payment infrastructure and its Payments Capability, a deep integration with our FX Markets partners, bringing together the synergies of industry developments, regulations, infrastructure, and client needs to build best in class payments solutions. This role will be part of the Global Cross Border Payments team, reporting to the Global Cross Border Transformation Head. What you'll do: Responsible for all components of the development and implementation of major/multiple/highly complex projects. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and status reports. Provides strategic business direction for projects managed. Impacts the project leadership function by strategic influence and by exercising control over resources, budget management, and planning, accountable for end results. Exercise a strong Risk and Control discipline in all stages of program delivery Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations; draws on diverse range of internal and external sources. Influences and negotiates with senior leaders (across functions); may communicate with external parties. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards. Identifying and forming strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Obtaining agreement and signoffs on all objectives and milestones with the stakeholders. Proactively assessing and managing (a) appropriateness of solutions and (b) risks across all regions / products / work streams. Ensuring timely escalation and mitigation of the risks to avoid impact to the project delivery. Participation in client presentations and demos and engages in RFPs and solutioning of new technical initiatives. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to department initiatives to implement process enhancements.
