This person will help strategize and shape how the company invests in and rolls out new business opportunities related to EV infrastructure, solar, and battery storage. The Senior Manager owns projects from feasibility, site assessment and design coordination through permitting, installation, commissioning, and operational handoff, all by aligning internal teams and external partners. This role has a high level of independence and broad cross-functional influence. At Global Partners, business starts with people. We show up every day with grit, passion, and purpose—anticipating needs, building lasting relationships, and creating shared value. Conduct site assessments and feasibility analyses for EV charging (including DC Fast Charging), solar PV, battery energy storage, and other emerging technologies. Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders—including construction, real estate, operations, IT, sustainability teams, contractors, utilities, and permitting authorities—to ensure seamless project execution and integration. Contribute to the development of strategic roadmaps for EV and clean energy infrastructure and support broader organizational initiatives as needed. Oversee vendor, contractor, and supplier relationships, providing guidance, performance oversight, and collaboration with internal project leadership. Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, change orders, and closeout materials; regularly communicate updates to senior leadership and stakeholders. Where applicable, manage relevant utility interconnection agreement processes. Monitor project performance, budgets, expenses, risks, and KPIs; identify cost-saving opportunities, incentives, and credits to optimize financial outcomes. Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Additional Job Description: 7+ years of relevant project experience, including substantial ownership of clean energy or EV infrastructure deployments, particularly DC Fast EV charging station, solar and Battery Energy Storage projects (BESS). Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Demonstrated end-to-end accountability leading projects through feasibility and site assessment, design coordination, permitting, utility interconnection, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handoff to operations. Advanced experience with sketching, reading, and interpretation of construction plan sets independently. Strong knowledge of energy management practices, and working with utilities. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
