Job description
Yahoo serves as a trusted guide for hundreds of millions of people globally, helping them achieve their goals online through our portfolio of iconic products. For advertisers, Yahoo Advertising offers omnichannel solutions and powerful data to engage with our brands and deliver results. A little about us Yahoo, with a global foundation of hundreds of millions of monthly users across Search, Mail, and our market-leading publishing properties (News, Finance, and Sports), is in the midst of an energetic renaissance. We are backed by substantial investment to drive meaningful, long-term growth led by great products. Are you up for the challenge of writing a chapter on one of the biggest consumer product success stories in history? This won’t be easy, but if you’re motivated by huge opportunities, backed by an organization that is ready to invest in bold initiatives, and can’t wait to start building, Yahoo is the place for you. Yahoo operates across dedicated business organizations, each led by a GM, driving key product lines. This individual contributor role sits across all of them within our newly established Corporate and Enterprise Business Development function, reporting directly to the Vice President of Business Development and Partnerships. About the role Yahoo is a portfolio, not a single product. Search, Mail, and our media properties reach hundreds of millions of people every month, and they increasingly rely on the same enterprise platforms, common infrastructure, and a focused set of strategic technology partners. Major technology partners view Yahoo as a single global customer; our advantage comes from negotiating with collective buying power, unified commercial terms, and a single accountable owner. Corporate and Enterprise Business Development is built to execute that aggregated approach. You will lead partnerships with major enterprise and technology companies where Yahoo engages as a customer, platform partner, or strategic ally—specifically spanning AI, cloud, core infrastructure, and enterprise-wide services. Working in close collaboration with property-level and distribution BD teams, your mission is clear: while their focus is winning for their specific product, yours is winning for the entire Yahoo portfolio. As an early hire in this function, you will partner directly with our VP of Business Development and Partnerships to shape the commercial strategy, frameworks, and operating cadence for Yahoo’s largest, highest-impact counterparty relationships. Responsibilities Source, evaluate, negotiate, and execute complex, enterprise-wide partnerships with Yahoo’s largest technology and infrastructure counterparties. Lead strategic renewals and commercial expansions well ahead of contract windows, developing multi-year deal frameworks that secure long-term value. Own the corporate and enterprise partner pipeline end-to-end, prioritizing initiatives against aggregated portfolio impact rather than single-property roadmaps. Build the commercial case for portfolio aggregation—developing rigorous financial models that quantify the value of consolidated agreements versus property-by-property terms, and defending these models to Finance and executive leadership. Assemble unified Yahoo positions ahead of negotiations by aligning cross-functional partners across property BD teams, General Managers, Legal, Procurement, Security, Privacy, and Engineering. Serve as the single accountable owner for key enterprise partner relationships, maintaining governance cadences, executive relationship health, and dispute resolution between active deal cycles. Represent deal strategy and company positioning credibly with external executive leadership and internal senior stakeholders in settings where the VP is not present. Integrate AI tools and structured prompt workflows into business development operations to accelerate contract synthesis, competitive research, and portfolio reporting. Design, implement, and maintain AI-assisted tracking
