POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES: Independent contributor owning full-cycle facilities design for assigned pads/projects, from Basis of Design through construction support Develop project plans for engineering projects and work with oversight to manage those projects within time and budget constraints. Key Reponsibilities: Work with Engineering Staff and Operations personnel to diagnose problems and improve facility performance. Author and own Basis of Design (BOD) documents for new pad facilities Facilitate or lead HAZOPs as node lead Select and size equipment per ASME/API standards (12F/650 tanks, Section VIII Div 1 vessels) Justify and submit AFEs for facilities scope within delegated authority Coordinate with Production Engineering, Regulatory, and Land on integrated pad design POSITION REQUIREMENTS: BS Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or Civil Engineering 5–8 years relevant experience Qualifications: Proficient in oilfield facilities codes/standards/RPs and P&ID development Demonstrated independent judgment on design/cost trade-offs Comfortable presenting recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders Portfolio-level (multi-pad) design ownership is the defining scope shift from Engineer I Owns the BOD as a reusable, multi-pad standard — not a one-off document HAZOP facilitation authority (node lead) begins here First title expected to mentor without formal management authority
