If you were in the Senior Designer, Veilance Women's, TCC, role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing: • Collaborating with leadership and key stakeholders to establish and drive the vision and long-term design strategy for the Veilance collection • Developing, leading and coaching a small team of creative direct reports to create comprehensive design solutions to exceed end user expectations • Collaborating closely with other Designers to create and bring new and better toolbox solutions that benefit the brand (such as new technologies, construction techniques, features, etc.) • Visually communicating compelling concepts both physically, as well as through 2D/3D digital assets • Adhering to Arc’teryx Sustainability Design Principles while also contributing to future improvements • Identifying and creating explorative, innovative performance or technology platforms that underpin product categories • Driving the commercialization of innovative technologies, including materials, pattern/part shaping and construction techniques for existing and future product categories • Creating patterns, mockups, and prototypes to explore, resolve, or prove new concepts or construction techniques • Collaborating with the Fit & Pattern Team to resolve fit style and construction issues and ensure a fully commercialized product • Coordinating with the Materials team to test new materials and ensure that necessary items are available for prototyping • Collaborating with the Merchandising team and Design Directors to align on seasonal line plans and project resource planning • Partnering with Product Development Managers to gain visibility into cost estimates, Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs) and Laminated Object Manufacturing (LOM) concerns throughout concepting and prototyping for seasonal products • Collaborating with leadership and People & Culture to establish and retain Design talent 主な業務内容 • リーダーシップおよび主要なステークホルダーと連携し、Veilanceコレクションのビジョンと長期的なデザイン戦略を策定・推進する • 少人数のクリエイティブチームを率い、メンバーの育成・コーチングを行いながら、エンドユーザーの期待を超える包括的なデザインソリューションを創出する • 他のデザイナーと密に連携し、新たなテクノロジー、構造・製造技術、機能など、ブランドに価値をもたらす優れた「ツールボックス」ソリューションを開発し、実現する • 魅力的なコンセプトを、物理的なプロトタイプだけでなく2D／3Dのデジタルアセットを通じても、視覚的にわかりやすく伝える • Arc’teryxのサステナビリティ・デザイン原則に則ってデザインするとともに、その継続的な改善にも貢献する • プロダクトカテゴリーを支える、探索的かつ革新的なパフォーマンス／テクノロジープラットフォームを特定・創出する • 素材、パターン／パーツの成形、構造・製造技術など、既存および将来のプロダクトカテゴリーにおける革新的なテクノロジーの製品化を推進する • 新しいコンセプトや構造・製造技術を検討、検証、実証するために、パターン、モックアップ、プロトタイプを制作する • フィッティング&パターンチームと連携し、フィッティングスタイルや構造上の課題を解決するとともに、製品を完全に製品化可能な状態にする • 素材チームと連携して新素材のテストを行い、プロトタイピングに必要な素材・資材をそろえる • マーチャンダイジングチームおよびデザインディレクターと連携して、シーズンごとのラインプランおよびプロジェクトのリソース計画について調整する • プロダクトディベロップメントマネージャーと連携し、シーズン商品のコンセプト立案からプロトタイピングまでの各段階において、コスト見積もり、Minimum Order Quantities（MOQ）、Laminated Object Manufacturing（LOM）に関する課題について把握する • リーダーシップおよび人事部門と連携し、優れたデザイン人材の採用・育成・定着を推進する Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future: • Working closely with Design leadership and our Merchandising teams to craft a strategic plan for the Veilance collection • Collaborating with various design activity leaders to identify new product opportunities and propose product solutions • Working closely with our development teams and innovation partnerships to challenge and evolve the way we bring innovative ideas to production 将来的に取り組む可能性のある業務 • デザイン部門のリーダーシップおよびマーチャンダイジングチームと密に連携し、Veilanceコレクションの戦略的な計画を策定する • デザイン領域のリーダーと協働し、新たなプロダクトの機会を見出すとともに、プロダクトソリューションを提案する • 開発チームおよびイノベーションパートナーと密に連携し、革新的なアイデアをプロダクトとして実現するための方法に挑戦し、そのあり方を進化させる Are you our next Senior Designer, Veilance Women's, TCC? • You have a Degree in Design (Fashion, Outwear, Apparel, etc.) or the equivalent experience, and a minimum of 8+ years’ hands-on experience designing relevant textile-based products • You have advanced knowledge in design, patterning, sewing, and garment construction with advanced technical and creative skills to pattern and prototype new products • You have experience designing women’s apparel and understand the product creation proces
