P&C) Specialism Assurance Management Level Senior Associate Job Description & Summary The Opportunity As a Risk Modeling Services P&C - Senior Associate, you will engage in analyzing and managing financial risks for clients through statistical modeling and data analysis. Your work will generate valuable insights and recommendations to help businesses make informed decisions and mitigate potential risks. As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality outcomes even when the path forward isn’t clear. In this role, you will be part of our Actuarial Services team within our Assurance practice, where you will contribute to maintaining regulatory compliance and managing risks for clients. You will provide advice and solutions, helping organizations navigate complex regulatory landscapes and enhance their internal controls. This position offers an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving, using critical thinking to break down complex concepts and interpret data to inform insights and recommendations. Responsibilities - Analyzing and managing financial risks through statistical modeling and data analysis - Developing insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making for clients - Utilizing actuarial science and financial modeling techniques to assess risk exposure - Implementing risk models to enhance clients' risk management strategies - Conducting complex data analysis to identify trends and potential risk factors - Presenting financial reports and findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner - Collaborating with clients to understand their risk management needs and objectives - Applying statistical analysis software to interpret data and generate actionable insights - Upholding professional and technical standards in all client engagements - Navigating complex regulatory landscapes to provide compliance advice and solutions What You Must Have - At least a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics - At least 2 years of experience - Current pursuit of or an Associateship of the Society of Actuaries and actively pursuing Fellowship of the Society of ActuariesCertification requirement may be waived if the candidate has more experience in the relevant field What Sets You Apart - Demonstrating proficiency in Actuarial Science and Risk Analysis - Utilizing Statistical Analysis Software for complex data interpretation - Implementing Risk Models in non-life insurance contexts - Excelling in Financial Risk Management and Strategic Forecasting - Presenting Financial Reports with clarity and precision - Embracing change and demonstrating learning agility - Analyzing complex data to inform strategic decisions Travel Requirements Up to 20% Job Posting End Date The salary range for this position is: $72,000 - $184,440. For residents of Washington state the salary range for this position is: $72,000 - $212,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
