Job Description UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Internal Medicine / Cardiac Unit . WORK SCHEDULE 90% or 100% FTE Variable shifts DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Our general Internal Medicine/Cardiology unit is a 30-bed medical/surgical unit that provides care and treatment to general internal medicine and cardiology patients. We care for patients with a variety of medical illnesses including pneumonia, liver and gastro-intestinal disorders, infections, diabetes, renal compromise, auto-immune disorders, heart failure, and acute myocardial infarctions. Telemetry monitoring is provided. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Provide acute patient care Triage patient care priorities in collaboration with the nursing supervisor Follow evidence-based nursing practices Monitor and administer medications and IVs REQUIREMENTS One year current/recent med-surg nursing experience preferred Licensed to work as an RN in the State of Washington Active BLS certification ABOUT UW MEDICAL CENTER-MONTLAKE UW Medical Center is an acute care academic medical center located in Seattle with two campuses: Montlake and Northwest. Compensation, Benefits and Position Details Pay Range Minimum: $46.97 hourly Pay Range Maximum: $86.17 hourly Other Compensation: BSN (or higher degree) Premium - $1.00/hour ; Certification (Specialty Certs) Premium - $1.25/hour
Night Shift Premium - $5.00/hour; Evening Shift Premium - $3.00/hour
Weekend Shift Premium - $4.00/hour; Sunday Night Premium - $3.00/hour
