Position Type Part-time 4 hours and 20 mins Hours 10:10 am - 2:30 pm Salary $16.53 < 60 hrs $ 17.74 >60 hrs Reports To Building Principal About Us The Francis Howell School District (FHSD) is dedicated to providing a safe and engaging environment for our students. We are seeking a proactive Paraprofessional to support our recess programs and ensure a positive experience for all students. Job Summary The Paraprofessional - Recess performs general duties to maintain a safe and orderly environment during recess and supports student engagement through organized activities. Key Responsibilities Attend Training: Participate in in-service training to gather information needed for the role. Implement Discipline: Enforce discipline procedures to help students follow rules. Maintain Equipment: Ensure playground equipment is in working order and replenish supplies as needed. Monitor Students: Supervise students during recess to ensure their safety and well-being. Organize Activities: Plan and execute indoor and outdoor activities to keep students engaged. Report Issues: Communicate discipline concerns to teachers and principals; report safety hazards to relevant personnel. Minimum Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Job-related experience is desired.
