Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Project Services Intern to join the Electrical Infrastructure Team in West Hartford, CT . The Project Services Intern will perform system design, system layout, and supporting component design using a combination of CAD software and custom applications. The ideal candidate will be available for a summer internship from May through August 2027. Main Activities: Organization: Individual Contributor competency model. Main Interface: Internal—Project Managers and Manufacturing; External—Customers. Budget: No direct budgetary responsibilities. Main Job Duties: Prepare manufacturing documentation using SOLIDWORKS applications. Provide technical support to internal customers. Perform other similar and related duties as required. Education: Mechanical or electrical coursework preferred or equivalent work experience. Experience: Three years of coursework with group design projects preferred, but not required. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Good drafting skills. SOLIDWORKS experience required. AutoCAD experience is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and understand drawings (mechanical, electrical, and architectural), as well as bills of material/cut lists. Ability to read and understand specifications. Basic understanding of electrical principles, NEC code requirements, and UL preferred. Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work on a cross-functional team.
