Job description

About Stoïk Stoïk protects European SMEs and mid-sized companies against cyber risk. Founded in 2021, Stoïk is a cyber insurer that combines cyber insurance with our own security tools, managed services and an in-house incident response team (CERT), so we support companies before, during and after an attack. Our CERT sees first-hand which attacks cost companies money, and that shapes the prevention we build. Our ambition: become the CISO of Europe. 15,000+ companies protected across 7 European markets 2,000+ broker partners 300+ incidents handled by our CERT every month 200+ people, backed by €70m+ from a16z, Alven and Munich Re The team You’ll join the Product & Ops team, which includes a Product team (Product Managers and Product Designers) and an Ops team (CSM, RevOps and Marketing). Our Tech team is organized in tribes. You will join the Security tribe, which builds Stoïk Protect, the application offered to every insured client to reduce cyber risk, and the paid Managed Services on top of it: Managed Defense Squad : our paid Managed Services: MDR on endpoints (with third-party agents like CrowdStrike or SentinelOne) and Email Security (fraud detection, mailbox compromise, 10m+ emails processed per day). The squad also owns the Incident Management System, the agent orchestration tool that automates a large part of our CERT’s workload (30 people, 300+ incidents per month). Human Security Squad : phishing simulations, security awareness training and reporting, to reduce the human side of cyber risk across our 7 markets. Technical Risk Squad : the prevention and exposure tools (external attack surface monitoring, AD scan, cloud scans) and the Stoïk Protect experience itself, from onboarding to remediation. Within your squad, you’ll work with: 4 to 5 Software Engineers (Full-stack JS, Python and Go) 1 Product Designer You will also work closely with the other Product Managers of the Security tribe, the CERT, and the Distribution tribe, which sells the products you build. What you'll do You will own one of the squads of the Security tribe, which builds the security products we offer our insured clients. That covers the whole product lifecycle, from user research and discovery to on-time delivery. This is a product with skin in the game. We insure the 15,000+ companies that use our security tools, so if they don’t work, we pay the claim. Almost every change touches detection quality, client risk or CERT workload. Here, reliability matters as much as speed. Depending on your profile and our needs, you will take ownership of one of these squads. Whatever the squad, the job is the same: make clients measurably safer, keep tools reliable at scale, and turn free prevention tools into a natural entry point for paid Managed Services. Discovery Turn security expertise (CERT learnings, claims data, threat trends) into precise, testable specs before development starts Work with the Engineering Manager and Tech Lead on pragmatic, scalable solutions to complex topics: detection quality, scan reliability, agent orchestration and evaluation, performance at scale Reliability and Security Outcomes Own the quality bar of your products: a scan that misses a vulnerability or an alert that fires wrong costs us money, since we insure the client Make sure the CERT and internal security teams consistently meet their SLAs, supported by clear and efficient product workflows Delivery Own delivery timelines by planning, running and protecting weekly sprints Balance run (bugs, CSM and CERT requests, incident peaks) with build, and keep commitments realistic Stakeholder Management Reconcile what security experts require with what clients, mostly non-technical SMEs, can actually understand and act on Communicate clearly and transparently, mostly in writing, on vision, progress, trade-offs and risks What we're looking for Proven track record as a Product Manager, preferably in a fast-growing startup or scale-up Experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure or an
