Partner with engineers, delivery managers, product managers, and other collaborators to understand workflow friction and determine root causes. Develop hypotheses and collaborate with engineering teams on experiments and solutions. Use quantitative DX signals alongside qualitative team feedback to distinguish symptoms from meaningful problems worth solving. Assess experiment results and use findings to inform backlog and roadmap prioritization. Help establish an effective parallel discovery and delivery model for PDIO. Product Delivery Take responsibility for the successful delivery of measurable, goal-aligned PDIO outcomes in collaboration with engineering and other technology teams. Work together with the team to divide tasks into smaller parts that allow for regular delivery and learning. Identify and help resolve dependencies and impediments affecting product outcomes. Engage fully in Agile ceremonies and join the team in ongoing efforts to refine delivery approaches. Communicate product releases, changes, and resulting value to collaborators and partners. Product Measurement, DX & Engineering Intelligence Use DX, DORA, and SDLC metrics to understand product health, developer friction, delivery performance, and opportunities for improvement. Review dashboards weekly or per sprint to identify hotspots, trends, rework, lead-time indicators, blocked work, and cross-team handoff delays. Bring relevant signals into retrospectives, planning, and team reflection conversations. Use team health, snapshot results, negative themes, and satisfaction trends in combination with workflow measures to form a balanced understanding of developer experience. Partner with teams to co-create measurable improvement goals and promote experimentation and small changes. Evaluate whether PDIO capabilities produce measurable improvements in engineering effectiveness and developer experience. Use data to guide discovery, prioritization, investment decisions, and roadmap adjustments. Collaborator Management & Communication Develop solid connections with Product Management, Engineering, Delivery Management, Platform Engineering, Architecture, Security, and other technology collaborators. Communicate PDIO strategy, priorities, roadmap, experiments, product performance, and outcomes clearly to collaborators. Develop shared understanding between engineering teams and supporting enterprise functions. Balance competing needs and prioritize opportunities
