How you’ll make an impact 1.You will lead and manage the end‑to‑end procurement process for assigned categories, including supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management. 2.You will develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business goals, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply chain optimization. 3.You will conduct market research and spend analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks. 4.You will negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. 5.You will collaborate cross‑functionally with internal stakeholders (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, finance) to understand requirements and ensure procurement meets project needs. 6.You will monitor supplier performance, manage vendor relationships, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. 7.You will prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and market trends to management. 8.You will ensure adherence to ethical procurement practices and company compliance standards. 9.You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. 10.Living Hitachi Energy's core values safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. Your background 1.Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. 2.Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably within a large multinational corporation. 3.Proven track record of successful negotiation and contract management. 4.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions. 5.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. 6.Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle). 7.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment. 8.Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus.
