Position Summary: Zeeco India is seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Mechanical Procurement Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience to support the procurement of engineered mechanical equipment and auxiliary technical items for Flare Systems, Thermal Oxidizers, Vapor Combustors, Burners, and other combustion-related projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete procurement lifecycle, including supplier identification, techno-commercial evaluations, negotiations, order placement, expediting, quality coordination, and vendor development to support project execution requirements. The role requires strong technical knowledge of mechanical equipment, fabrication processes, industrial materials, and supplier capabilities within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, EPC, and Process Industries. Procurement & Sourcing: • Manage end-to-end procurement activities for mechanical equipment, fabricated assemblies, and auxiliary technical items required for Zeeco projects. • Review engineering drawings, specifications, material requisitions, datasheets, and purchase requirements to determine sourcing strategies. • Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to qualified suppliers. • Conduct detailed techno-commercial evaluations and supplier comparisons. • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, commercial terms, and contractual conditions to achieve optimal procurement outcomes. • Issue Purchase Orders and ensure compliance with project specifications and company procurement procedures. • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Logistics teams throughout the procurement process. Technical Procurement: Procure and manage sourcing activities for equipment and materials including, but not limited to: • Refractory materials and refractory-lined equipment • Industrial blowers and fans • Dosing Skids • Fuel Gas and Fuel Oil Skids • Desuperheaters • Manual and specialty valves • PTFE-lined valves and PTFE-lined piping systems • Metallic and fabric expansion bellows • Metallic piping, fittings, flanges, and specialty piping components • Rockwool insulation and thermal insulation materials • Pumps and pumping systems • Manual and motorized winches • Manual dampers and isolation dampers • Flame arrestors • Spray guns and industrial nozzles • Air preheaters • Vessel linings and protective internal components • Combustion air system components • Ducting systems and fabricated assemblies • Structural steel and custom-fabricated equipment • Mechanical packages supporting Thermal Oxidizers, Flares, and Vapor Combustion Systems Vendor Development & Supplier Management: • Develop and maintain a robust supplier network for specialized mechanical and fabricated equipment. • Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers capable of meeting Zeeco's quality, delivery, and commercial expectations. • Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews. • Coordinate supplier audits and qualification activities as required. • Establish long-term relationships with strategic vendors to improve cost competitiveness and delivery reliability. Expediting & Quality Coordination: • Monitor supplier manufacturing progress and ensure adherence to committed delivery schedules. • Coordinate inspection activities, quality documentation reviews, and testing requirements. • Work with Zeeco Quality Assurance teams and third-party inspection agencies for supplier inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs). • Resolve technical and commercial issues affect
