Job Description Summary Organization's Summary Statement: The Department of Behavioral and Community Health (BCH) at the University of Maryland School of Public Health is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate for a one-year, 12-month contract to join our dynamic and growing research community. The position is designed to support the Department’s research enterprise while providing an emerging scholar with opportunities to strengthen their publication record, expand their research experience, and build an independent research trajectory. BCH has a robust and diverse research portfolio spanning mental health, substance use, cancer prevention and control, violence prevention, sexual and reproductive health, health communication, and other areas of public health prevention. Across these areas, our faculty are committed to advancing health equity and social justice, engaging communities as partners in research, and putting science into practice. The ideal candidate will be a recent doctoral graduate in public health or a related discipline with strong quantitative research and scientific writing skills. The Postdoctoral Associate will work closely with BCH faculty on research projects, including data analysis, manuscript development, and preparation of scientific products for dissemination.
