Job Summary The Pediatric Psychiatrist is accountable for carrying out clinical and administrative duties, as applicable, in a manner to promote high-quality clinical services and excellence in education and training programs at Beaumont. Essential Functions Responsible for performing inpatient consultations on patients where there is a question of psychiatric issues. Participate in QI/QA and peer review initiatives as requested. Completion of health system clinical and safety mandatories to ensure corporate compliance. Complete all clinical documentation, as applicable, in a timely manner consistent with health system, payer and regulatory requirements, if applicable. Complete Beaumont clinical and safety mandatories and Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine (“OUWB School of Medicine”) mandatories, as applicable, on a timely basis to ensure corporate compliance. If faculty, fulfill meaningful participation criteria within the OUWB School of Medicine by delivering lectures, committee service, or other participation. Participate in activities related to improving operational and financial performance, quality and patient satisfaction as requested.
