Hours : Shift Start Time: Variable Shift End Time: Variable AWS Hours Requirement: 8/40 - 8 Hour Shift Additional Shift Information: Weekend Requirements: As Needed On-Call Required: No Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum): $88.480 - $114.160 - $127.860 The stated pay scale reflects the range as defined by the collective bargaining agreement between Sharp HealthCare and UNAC Professional. Placement within the range is based on years of experience in alignment with the CBA. This position was originally posted to ratified UNAC Professionals members from 10/20/2026 to 10/28/2026. The position is now available to be filled by internal candidates that are not members of the ratified Bargaining Unit or External candidates to Sharp. What You Will Do To provide the professional, clinical and technical knowledge, skills and expertise required for the provision of comprehensive pharmaceutical care in an ambulatory care setting. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in pharmacy Or Master's Degree in pharmacy Or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED California Pharmacist License - CA State Board of Pharmacy -REQUIRED Preferred Qualifications 1 Year Experience in a retail pharmacy environment. Essential Functions Achieves patient and pharmacoeconomic outcomes Clarify and/or verify therapeutic issues or problems with prescribing physician and documents interventions. Demonstrates knowledge of and active participation in the outpatient pharmacy quality assurance program, medication error monitoring, and reporting. Demonstrates thoughtful and thorough identification, evaluation and analysis of triggers/medication use issues that might contribute to adverse drug events and medication errors. Contributes to improvements in safe medication practice including the mandatory completion and submission of quality assurance data collection forms that contribute to the outpatient pharmacy quality assurance program. Collaboration and teamwork Operational Services (dealing with internal customers): Clearly communicates goals and instructions to other staff members, including hand-offs between shifts (written/oral); Participates in staff orientation and resident/student training programs. Effectively intercepts and troubleshoots problems, as demonstrated by effective problem solving, prioritization of issues with respect to level of significance and impact to patient care, safety, workflow, and communication. When faced with complex situations, has knowledge of and applies the appropriate policies and procedures; Effectively evaluates ongoing workflow issues and directs daily workload to achieve efficiency and maximize resource utilization as business needs require; Attends and participates in staff meetings or reviews staff meeting communications; Reads work related email at a minimum on assigned workdays. Customer Service/Interdepartmental Relations (dealing with external Customers): Answers phone in timely, friendly manner, stating department and name; Fosters positive relationships through consistent, respectful, professional interactions with customers; Responds to requests in a timely, caring manner that is consistent with Sharp behavior standards, (i.e. attitude). Daily operations Effectively demonstrates leadership in the achievement of pharmacy goals by providing daily work direction and supervision of technical and ancillary staff. Consistently assures and completes assigned workload/projects. Delegates additional tasks as needed to efficiently utilize time and quality of work. Supervises employees for compliance with policy and procedure, disciplinary procedures and company guidelines on behalf of the Pharmacist In Charge in his/her absence or as PIC. Reconciles daily prescription reports for accuracy and assures pharmacist signature in accordance with State of California Board of Pharmacy. Willing and able to step into any techni
