Position Description: Under general supervision, provides professional nursing care in accordance with established nursing protocols, policies, and procedures. This position serves as a Float Nurse , with a primary duty location at the Tift County Health Department in Tifton, Georgia. The position requires travel to provide nursing services and staffing support at other South Health District locations, including Ben HIll County (Fitzgerald), Irwin County (Ocilla), Turner County (Ashburn), and Berrien County (Nashville), based on operational needs. Qualifications: Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and completion of a PHN course within one (1) year of hire and current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license and CPR certification. Preferred Qualifications: Public Health RN Protocols and a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
