Job description

Overview Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, sits with patients to provide a safe environment for individuals who need constant observation. The sitter will provide only basic care needed for activities of daily living and diversionary activities. Qualifications Required Education: High School Diploma or GED. Necessary Skills: Ability to write/read in English. Knowledge of standard precautions. Ability to recognize emergency situations. Ability to maintain confidentiality and awareness of ethical and legal responsibilities. Preferred Licensure/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
