Your role The Outbound Sales Team Leader is responsible for leading, coaching and developing a team of sales representatives while also carrying an individual sales target. This role combines people leadership with hands-on selling, requiring strong commercial discipline, pipeline management, customer engagement and the ability to model high-performance sales behaviours for the team. What you'll be doing The successful candidate will drive team performance, support day-to-day sales execution, and personally contribute to revenue growth through their own managed opportunities and customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership Lead, motivate and coach a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets. Set clear expectations for activity, pipeline progression, customer follow-up and sales quality. Conduct regular one-on-ones, pipeline reviews and performance check-ins. Support team members with discovery, objection handling, customer conversations and closing plans. Identify skill gaps and provide practical coaching to improve sales capability. Individual Sales Delivery Own and deliver an individual sales target alongside leadership responsibilities. Manage a personal pipeline of leads, opportunities and customer accounts. Qualify, present and close new business opportunities. Maintain strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for growth in new customer portfolios. Accurately manage all sales activity and customer information in our CRM. Sales Operations and Performance Management Monitor team performance against sales targets, activity metrics and conversion goals. Ensure leads and opportunities are managed efficiently and in line with agreed sales processes. Use data and reporting to identify performance trends, risks and opportunities. Work with sales operations, marketing and leadership teams to improve process, tools and sales outcomes. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement Act as an escalation point for customers where required. Represent the business professionally in customer meetings and negotiations. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve the sales experience. Experience leading, coaching or mentoring salespeople. Strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline. Confident prospecting, presenting, negotiating and closing skills. Ability to analyse sales performance data and turn insights into action. Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
