This is an opportunity to help establish our MES environment from the ground up. Working closely with Engineering, R&D, Quality, and Production, you will help translate manufacturing needs into workflows and system configurations that support efficient, scalable, and high-quality production. The role will evolve as the implementation progresses: initially focusing on requirements, configuration, testing, and validation, and later supporting users and driving continuous improvement as the system becomes part of daily operations. What You Will Do As an MES Analyst, you will contribute to the implementation and configuration of Siemens Opcenter, helping shape how the system supports our manufacturing processes. You will work with stakeholders across the site and collaborate with MES architects, software developers, automation teams, and other specialists. MES Implementation, Configuration & Continuous Improvement Work closely with Process Integrators to establish effective ways of working and ensure that manufacturing processes are accurately represented in the MES. Configure and maintain Opcenter workflows, resources, specifications, recipes, hold matrices, and process data. Support new product introductions, process changes, and evolving manufacturing flows. Gather and analyze requirements from Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, Operations, Quality, and other stakeholders. Translate business and manufacturing needs into practical MES solutions. Assess how proposed MES changes may affect existing workflows, connected systems, and manufacturing operations, and identify dependencies or limitations early. Collaborate with MES architects and software developers on complex solutions. Manage and prioritize requests for enhancements, bug fixes, and process improvements. Operational Support & Troubleshooting As the system is introduced, provide first- and second-line support to MES users. Troubleshoot issues related to production tracking, workflows, lot processing, rework, holds, rejects, and sampling activities. Investigate and resolve configuration, data, interface, and application-related issues. Support users during the implementation of new functionality and process changes. Coordinate issue resolution across engineering, manufacturing, automation, and IT teams. Testing & Release Activities Develop and execute functional test plans. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system validation activities. Ensure configuration and software changes perform as intended without disrupting production. Participate in MES upgrades, releases, and deployment activities. Maintain documentation, work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge articles. Interfaces & Data Management Support testing and validation of MES integrations and connected systems. Work with equipment engineering and automation teams when issues extend beyond the MES platform. Who You Are You are detail-oriented and methodical, and take responsibility for the accuracy of your work. You combine technical problem-solving skills with a good understanding of manufacturing processes. You enjoy working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and are motivated by improving systems that directly impact production.
