Job description

About Abridge Founded in 2018, Abridge is the first AI-native clinician intelligence platform organized around the patient, built for clinicians, and designed to help health systems coordinate the clinical, financial, and evidence-based decisions for every moment of care. Powered by purpose-built AI for healthcare, Abridge connects patients, providers, payers, and life sciences companies. This year, the platform will support more than 100 million patient-clinician conversations across more than 300 of the largest and most complex health systems in the U.S. With deep workflow integration, the Abridge clinician intelligence platform has been validated to support encounters in 28+ languages across specialties and care settings. Abridge is setting the industry standard for the responsible deployment of Al across health systems with continual and transparent Al evaluation. Clinical decision support references and cites gold-standard sources of evidence, and features like Linked Evidence map AI-generated documentation to source data, helping clinicians quickly trust and verify the output. Abridge was awarded Best in KLAS for Ambient AI in 2025 and 2026, in addition to other accolades, including TIME Best Inventions of 2024 and 2025, CNBC Disruptor 2025, and Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies 2025. We are a growing team of practicing clinicians, AI scientists, PhDs, creatives, technologists, and engineers working together to transform healthcare. We have offices located in San Francisco, New York, and Pittsburgh. The Role We’re hiring a PM to join our growing Life Sciences team as its second PM. You’ll own a product area end to end, working alongside our existing Life Sciences PM to shape and build products that create value for life sciences partners and health systems. This is an early-stage opportunity with significant room to shape what we build. You’ll turn customer needs into a focused roadmap, lead discovery, and partner with engineering, ML, design, and clinical teams to bring new products to market. You’ll also work closely with business development and sales to connect product decisions to commercial outcomes. The right person has built products for or within life sciences, brings strong product judgment, and can move from an ambiguous opportunity to a product customers use and pay for. What You'll Do Own a Life Sciences product area end to end. Define the customer problem, product direction, roadmap, and success measures for your area, in alignment with the broader Life Sciences strategy. Shape the strategy. Prioritize opportunities, coordinate shared dependencies, and make tradeoffs across the portfolio. Lead discovery with life sciences partners. Understand their workflows, data needs, buying processes, and willingness to pay. Translate what you learn into clear product decisions. Build and ship new products. Work with engineering, ML, design, and clinical teams to define requirements, scope initial releases, and deliver useful, trustworthy experiences. Turn early engagements into repeatable products. Distinguish customer-specific requests from needs shared across the market, and build capabilities that can serve multiple partners. Connect product development to commercialization. Partner with business development and sales on pilot scope, product positioning, pricing inputs, and measures of customer value. Build with privacy and trust at the center. Work with legal, clinical, and engineering teams to establish appropriate data use, evaluate constraints, and make decisions that protect patients and health system relationships. Measure outcomes and iterate. Define how you’ll assess product quality, adoption, customer value, and business impact, then use evidence to improve the product. What You Bring 5+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time spent building products for or within life sciences.
