You Have: Experience working in hardware design, prototyping, 3D modeling and computer-aided drafting ( CAD ) in an internship, school projects, or in a professional work environment Knowledge of basic engineering and physics principles as they apply to hardware design and product develop ment Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and approaches, including additive and subtractive manufacturing techniques Ability to develop technical documentation, including 2D technical drawings and written technical documentation Ability to collaborate with an integrated product team, including a variety of technical and non-technical teammates Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technology field Nice If You Have: Experience with prototyping and integration related to electromechanical or military systems Experience with finite element analysis ( FEA ) or modeling and simulation activities Experience with other engineering sof tware, including MATLAB, Mathcad, or multiphysics sof tware Experience with lab-based develop mental testing and test data acquisition Knowledge of product design for manufacturability, reliability, maintainability, injection molding, ruggedization, and extreme environments Secret clearance Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
