What you’ll do: Eaton’s Electrical division is seeking a Machine Operator II to join our team. This position is at our Reno, NV facility. In this function you will: • Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses • Troubleshoot various machinery problems • Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders • QC and document all parts run on machines • Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system • Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production • Keep work areas clean and safe • Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment • More than 6 months of experience with forming or bending machines • More than 6 months of experience reading drawings or blueprints • Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools. Skills: Position Criteria: • Able to operate machinery and presses safely • Able to read, accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings • Able to identify different gauges and types of raw material • Able to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers • Able to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision Additional Information: Physical Requirements: • Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift. • Able to lift and bend on a continuous basis • Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance. • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.
