Job description

This is a part-time position during the school year only; no work hours are scheduled during school vacations, school holidays or when school is canceled. This position pays minimum wage ($16.94/hr through 12/31/2026, then $17.48/hr effective 1/1/2027) and requires 1.5-2.5 hours of work per day in a normal week during the school year. Must be able to perform duties listed in the attached job description. The Thomaston Public Schools district is located in Thomaston, Connecticut which encompasses a land area of 12 square miles and has a population of 7,922. The Town is 10 miles south of Torrington, 23 miles west of Hartford and is bordered by Waterbury, Plymouth, Harwinton, Litchfield, and Watertown.
