The Role Your Role At Kyndryl, our mission-critical data centers power some of the world's most demanding workloads, including next-generation AI and high-performance computing environments. As an L2 Data Center Facilities Engineer (Electrical & HVAC) , you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of both the electrical and cooling infrastructure that supports high-density GPU environments. Working alongside our facilities partner teams, OEM vendors, and IT operations teams, you will help maintain critical power and cooling systems, respond to incidents, perform preventive maintenance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data center operations. What You'll Do Monitor, operate, and maintain critical electrical and cooling infrastructure supporting AI and high-density data center environments. Investigate and troubleshoot electrical, thermal, cooling, power quality, flow, pressure, temperature, and infrastructure alarms to minimize service disruptions. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on assigned electrical and mechanical systems in accordance with operational procedures. Support incident response activities, root cause analysis (RCA), and recovery efforts during critical facility events. Monitor capacity utilization, system performance, redundancy, and failover readiness across electrical and cooling environments. Execute and support SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, change management activities, and facility maintenance programs. Coordinate with L1 technicians, facilities partners, OEM vendors, and engineering teams to ensure timely resolution of infrastructure issues. Maintain a safe operating environment by following electrical safety, permit-to-work, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and operational compliance requirements. Required Skills and Experience Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience operating and maintaining mission-critical facilities infrastructure within data centers, semiconductor facilities, telecommunications facilities, hospitals, or similar 24×
