Position: JV Girls Hockey Coach Location: Albert Lea High School Start Date: Winter 2026�27 Season Compensation: $4,153.33 (Schedule C) Albert Lea Area Schools is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic JV Girls Hockey Coach to support our program and help develop student-athletes both on and off the ice. We are looking for a team-oriented coach who values skill development, sportsmanship, and a positive team culture. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Plan and conduct practices Support individual player development, emphasizing fundamentals, teamwork, and accountability. Help manage equipment, game preparation, and logistics. Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes student growth and academic success. Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school staff. Serve as a positive role model representing Albert Lea Activities and the community. Qualifications: Coaching and/or playing experience in hockey required. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Knowledge of hockey strategy, fundamentals, and player safety. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Must meet MSHSL and Albert Lea Area Schools coaching requirements. Why Join Albert Lea Activities?
