Your Opportunity Our GTA Audit Practice is looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join the team, with flexibility to work from either of our two offices: Toronto or Oakville. This is an existing vacancy where the successful candidate will own the following responsibilities: Conduct and support audit engagements by preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards. Streamline the preparation of year-end engagements and tax returns for clients across diverse industries. Foster positive working relationships with clients, and promptly address their requests and suggestions. Maintain ongoing communication with team members regarding progress updates and issues. Your experience and education You have completed or are currently working towards your CPA designation. You possess a minimum of 1 year of audit experience in the public accounting industry. You have exposure to or familiarity with IFRS, or US GAAP standards. You prioritize teamwork, client service, and quality while completing detailed work. You exhibit strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. You possess a solid understanding of accounting policies and assurance techniques.
