The Opportunity: Manulife Wealth Insurance Services Inc. (MWISI) is currently seeking an Insurance Support Specialist to join the Operations team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of the team's daily processes. The Operations team functions as the MGA "Back Office" for MWISI and third-party Independent Advisors. It acts as the central channel for advisors to submit their New Business and In-Force Insurance business to Manulife and 12 other insurance carriers. This position has a significant impact on advisor retention, sales, and the overall business growth facilitated through MWISI. Position Responsibilities: Sort and prioritize all incoming correspondence Triage all new applications received Handle insurance carrier feed rejects promptly Generate reports Create shells in WealthServ Communicate effectively to management and escalate issues where appropriate Identifying gaps and risks in documentation. Where necessary, create and update documentation.
