The ideal candidate will have experience in retail insurance, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across finance, legal, operations, and external partners. Ensure COIs accurately list additional insured parties and meet all contractual deadlines. Compliance & Documentation: Maintain a centralized database of all insurance policies, COIs, and related documents. Conduct regular audits to ensure ongoing compliance across all store locations. Collaborate with Legal and Finance teams to review lease insurance clauses and mitigate contractual risks. Cross-functional Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for store operations teams, providing guidance on insurance-related matters for new store openings, renovations, and daily operations. Liaise with insurance brokers, carriers, landlords, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently. Risk Mitigation Support: Assist in developing and implementing risk management protocols for retail operations. Analyze claims data and provide insights to reduce future incidents and costs. Build basic claims / incident SOP from 0→1, including coordination with broker / Legal / store teams on consumer incidents (e.g., choking events).
