Bloomfield Public Schools is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Instructional Assistant (Kindergarten) at Laurel Literacy Academy. Work Year : Ten-month position (190 days) Work Week : 32.5 hours/week Hourly Wage : (Dependent upon experience) Qualifications Skills and knowledge Minimum - Associate’s Degree or equivalent and some experience in working with children Ability to handle and treat information confidentially Ability to work with a student in a classroom environment and capability to follow teacher and related staff instructions in regard to work modifications and behavior plans Ability to present material in a clear and efficient manner Ability to help organize content area information Ability to consistently implement instructional and behavior programs for students under the direction of a teacher Ability to relate to students, teachers, and staff in a positive and effective manner Effective Date : 2025-26 School Year Deadline: Open until filled EOE Position type: Support Staff / Instructional Assistant School / site: Laurel Literacy Academy Date available: Immediately Closing date: Open until filled
