Job Summary The Heavy Equipment Operator - Sanitation handles large equipment at the landfill such as, motor graders, excavators, dozers, compactors, articulating dump trucks, etc. to contribute to the daily operations of the landfill and serve the citizens of the surrounding areas. Job Description MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience operating heavy motorized equipment OR off-road equipment used in excavation, construction, landfill, or waste collections (e.g. compactor, motor grader, bulldozer, excavator). EQUIVALENCY: One (1) year of experience in waste disposal operations will meet the experience requirement. LICENSE: Valid driver's license and good driving record. Salary Range $24.39 - $27.71 The salary listed on this job posting is the starting salary range; amount offered will depend upon qualifications. City of Dallas is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
