What’s Health Services Clinical Quality and Training at Wellmark?   Health Services Clinical Quality and Training develops and maintains training programs, clinical resources, and quality standards that support Health Services teams. The team drives continuous improvement, knowledge management, process standardization, and employee learning to help ensure consistent, high-quality service and operational excellence.  What projects might I support? Examples of work you may support during your internship include:  Collaborate with leaders and teams on small-scale deliverables, build professional relationships, and gain exposure to cross-divisional work across Wellmark  Inventory and categorize Health Services Clinical Quality and Training resources  Evaluate current SharePoint navigation and document organization  Identify opportunities to improve content discoverability through metadata, tagging, and standardized document structures  Explore and document practical Copilot use cases for finding, summarizing, and navigating resources  Develop quick-reference guides and recommendations to support employee adoption  Deliver a final set of recommendations and a sustainable framework for ongoing content governance  Ready to bring your strengths to Wellmark? Here’s what’s next! If the position matches your passion, interests and skills, submit your application today!   This internship will start in May of 2027, working a hybrid schedule from our headquarters in Des Moines.   Current junior or senior pursuing Communications,  English, business administration, public health, healthcare management, or related business program  Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively work with the business areas   Experience developing and modifying communications technical and non-technical audiences  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment  Excellent research skills, ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively  Effective organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects that meet timelines and objectives  Demonstrated experience collaborating with others to create new ideas and improve current processes  A self-starter who can work well independently or as a member of a cross-functional team  Preferred Qualifications:  Previous internship or office experience   Previous experience or interest in health insurance   Practical experience using AI tools  All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
