Rock Ridge Public Schools is accepting applications for a Head Varsity Speech Coach for Rock Ridge High School for the 2026-2027 school year. Position: Head Varsity Speech Coach - Rock Ridge High School Location: Rock Ridge High School Virginia MN Start Date: ASAP for training, recruitment and organization. Stipend: $3,590.00 Season: Practices begin in December. Invitationals are Saturdays from January through March. State Tournament is in April. Brief Job Description: Working knowledge of public address and dramatic interpretation of written works, as well as experience in writing both formal speeches and original creative writing, is preferred. Must be willing to work closely with and cooperate with others inthe Rock Ridge speech program. Duties will consist of regular attendance at weeknight practices and Saturday meets, judging at meets, administrative duties as assigned, following the rules and regulations found in the Rock Ridge extracurricular policy, and motivating, supervising, and instructing speech students in grades 7-12.
