Job description

Our Mission Money sitting idle is money lost. We're fixing that. Founded in 2023 by Antoine and Paul-Adrien , Spiko gives businesses, non-profits, financial advisers, and fintechs access to institutional-grade cash management, via app or API. We are building the full infrastructure: issuing, operating, and distributing the products ourselves. Two years after launch, we serve thousands of organizations across Europe and process hundreds of millions of euros in flows every month. Our ambition: become the world's leading treasury management infrastructure in a market worth trillions. We are backed by Index Ventures, the CEO of Revolut, the founder of Kyriba, and the CTO of Wise. Spiko runs on excellence, transparency, and straight talk. The role: Head of VC Sector UK Spiko is building its UK business, and venture capital and private equity are central to it. Funds hold cash of their own, and their portfolio companies hold the treasury balances of the next generation of UK businesses. As Head of VC & PE Sector (UK), you own Spiko's relationships with the UK venture capital and private equity community, and the AuM that comes from them. This is a senior role: you set the sector strategy, hold the number, and shape the playbook that later hires in the sector will follow. You'll report to the GM, and work closely with the Product and Marketing teams. Your AuM comes from three routes, and you own all of them: Direct: VC and PE firms placing their own fund cash with Spiko Referral: portfolio companies introduced through the funds, with you owning the AuM those referrals generate Partnership: formal programmes with funds, platforms and ecosystem players that bring Spiko to many portfolio companies at once Success means Spiko is a recognised name among the leading UK VC and PE firms, with a live partnership programme, a growing base of funds and portfolio companies holding cash with Spiko, and a sector AuM figure you own and consistently grow. Key Responsibilities Relationships and partnerships You will build and maintain relationships with UK VC and PE firms, operating partners, platform teams, CFOs and finance leads. You will design and negotiate partnership and referral structures with funds and ecosystem players, and own the AuM they deliver. You will map the UK VC and PE landscape, prioritise target firms, and run a disciplined account plan for each. Direct sales You and your sales team will sell Spiko directly to VC and PE firms for their own fund cash and treasury. You and your sales team will run discovery, presentations and due diligence conversations with GPs, CFOs and COOs, and guide them through onboarding with care and precision. You will own a revenue and AuM target, forecast accurately, and keep the CRM current. Marketing and events You will drive the sector marketing and events agenda: host and sponsor events, speak on panels, and build a presence in the UK venture community. You will work with the marketing team on sector content, case studies and campaigns that speak to funds and portfolio companies. You will turn events and introductions into a measurable pipeline. Product feedback You will bring the needs of VCs and portfolio companies back to the product organisation, with clear evidence and priorities. You will help shape propositions, pricing and onboarding for the venture and PE segment. Leadership You will act as the senior voice of Spiko in the UK venture sector, with the GM and with partners. You will set the sector playbook, reporting cadence and targets, and mentor the sellers who work alongside you. You will lead a sales team focused on the sector You will help scope and hire the next members of the sector team as AuM grows.
