Your Role and Impact As a General Ledger & Payroll Accounting Professional, you will support accurate, compliant, and timely accounting operations within Flowserve’s global Finance organization. You will play an important role in transitioning payroll-related General Ledger activities, supporting month-end closing, maintaining strong financial controls, and contributing to process improvements alongside experienced finance professionals and global stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Support the transition of payroll-related General Ledger activities from the GL team to the Payroll team, working closely with senior accountants. Take ownership of assigned accounting processes and month-end closing activities. Perform US GAAP accounting, reporting, financial analysis, and respond to ad hoc information requests. Prepare General Ledger account analyses and balance sheet reconciliations. Execute and document SOX controls diligently. Support internal and external audit activities. Build and maintain robust process documentation. Collaborate with global stakeholders and contribute to continuous process-improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Degree or ongoing studies in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 0–2 years of relevant experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hungarian. Solid understanding of General Ledger accounting and financial processes. Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Basic knowledge of SAP and/or Oracle ERP systems.
