We are seeking an Engineer-in-Training II (EIT II) – Stations Engineering to join our team! In this role, you will build your engineering expertise through increasingly complex assignments while supporting the design, operation, and reliability of natural gas pressure regulating stations. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and stakeholders to develop safe, compliant, and cost-effective engineering solutions that support Enbridge's operations and infrastructure. What You Will Do Deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective mechanical station designs that comply with applicable codes, standards, and company requirements. Develop, review, and support engineering designs, technical analyses, and practical solutions for station facilities and systems. Provide timely engineering support for operational issues, emergency response situations, safety incidents, and investigations. Apply knowledge of station design, pressure regulation and control systems, heating systems, odourization, measurement, and field operations to engineering projects. Collaborate with engineers, co-op students, and cross-functional teams to achieve project and operational objectives. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while demonstrating Enbridge's core values of Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, and High Performance. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in engineering (i.e., Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering). 2+ years of related work experience. Eligible to become a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO). Understanding of station design, pressure regulation and control systems, heating systems, odourization, measurement, construction practices, field operations, and applicable engineering standards. Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards, including CSA Z662. Project management, communication, relationship-building, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization. Experience related to station design and/or station operations is considered an asset. Working Conditions Office environment. Some travel (up to 5%) is required for this role. A valid "G" class Ontario driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required which will be validated before hire. Salary: Ranges from $73,000 - $90,000 CAD for Ontario locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity. Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
