Eaton’s AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution division is currently seeking a Electrical Tester to join our team in Torrance, CA! The core hours are 6 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday. The hourly rate for this position is $30.96 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do: The Electrical Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of power distribution units through comprehensive testing and analysis. In this role, you will: Conduct electrical testing on power distribution units to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. Perform diagnostic tests to identify and troubleshoot issues within the units. Document test results and prepare detailed reports for review by engineering and quality assurance teams. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address and resolve any identified issues. Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Assist in the development and implementation of testing procedures and protocols. Maintain and contribute to an organized workspace and area through 5S+. Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: Completion of a Technical Certification or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution. Minimum of 1 year of electrical testing experience Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in electrical testing or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment. Experience with power distribution units and related components. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Proficiency in using testing equipment and software.
