Purpose The Electrical/Mechanical Technician will fabricate, build and assemble advanced semiconductor technologies based on engineered drawings and schematics. Responsibilities Fabrication of electromechanical assemblies using hand and machine tools. Evaluate and repair specialized electrical and mechanical assemblies. Operation of specialized electrical test equipment. Procuring parts and working with vendors, quality control of parts and assemblies. Construction and encapsulation of acoustic arrays and cables. Manual soldering/rework of surface mount components on printed circuit boards. Fabrication of cable harness assemblies. Prepare and maintain accurate quality and assembly documentation. Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications High school graduation or GED. Electrical & Mechanical Technician I: Four years' experience in the skilled construction and maintenance of specialized electronic equipment using hand and machine tools.
